In this episode, we are joined by Stuart Ball, Emeritus Professor of Modern History at Leicester University, for a discussion about Britain's 1931 budget crisis, and the formation of the National Government.

We take a look at the political situation in Britain in the years before, the people involved in the crisis, the critical moments during it, and the fascinating years afterward; including the creation of a National Government, and the landslide victory of that National Government in the October general election.

Thanks so much to Stuart for coming on the show!
